Where Strong is stronger

Strong has been refined for years around one job: logging sets fast. Its Apple Watch app works without your phone, which matters if you leave the phone in a locker. PRO costs less per year than Talus, and there's a one-time lifetime option.

Where Talus is different

Any device with a browser. Log on an Android phone, check history on a work laptop, no app store needed.

Rounds you can see. Group exercises into a superset and Talus shows "round 2 of 3" with the next exercise highlighted, using separate rest timers between exercises and after each round. Here's how to set up supersets that way.

A plan that bends. Reorder exercises or substitute one mid-workout when the gym is busy; Talus records the swap against what you planned.

Private by default. Training data stays yours even in a shared Apollo household.

Moving your history from Strong

Export a CSV from Strong's settings, then choose Import from Strong or Hevy in Talus. Talus recognizes Strong's column layout and shows a preview before anything is saved. Strong notes its own exports can't be re-imported into Strong, so keep the file.
