Where Copilot is stronger
Copilot is a polished native app for Apple devices, with categorization that learns from your edits, rollover budgets, subscription detection and investment tracking. If your household is all Apple and you want one app for spending and investments, it is a strong choice.
Where Alluvium is different
It runs anywhere. Alluvium is a web app you can install to a phone's home screen, so an Android partner isn't left out.
Two people, two logins. Copilot shares one account between partners. In Alluvium your partner has their own account with an owner, editor or viewer role, and each of you approves the month separately.
One month at a time. Each month owns its plan, and a new month can copy the last one's buckets. If you rely on rollover budgets, Copilot fits that habit better.
What it costs over a year
Standard yearly plans, checked October 3, 2026. Copilot's includes a one-month trial.
Copilot's annual plan is $95; Alluvium's is $59.99, $35.01 less. Price isn't the deciding factor if you need investment tracking or prefer a native Apple app.
Switching
Alluvium connects banks through Plaid, or imports any CSV with a date, description and amount; you map the columns once and can save the mapping.
